About the Role

In a world filled with status quo, this is an opportunity to work with a disruptor in the health insurance space that is making a real-time difference for small to mid-sized employers struggling with containing rapidly rising costs while also enhancing the consumer experience and healthy outcomes. In this role, you will serve a territory in the Pacific Northwest market, driving new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert in alternative funding, stop loss sales, and captives and be able to relate to both clients and broker contacts to educate the market on this innovative approach to building out a successful, long-term health and welfare strategy.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Create, manage, and maintain agency, broker, and consultant relationships throughout the territory for new business opportunities
  • Work with internal marketing team to better position products and services within the industry
  • Drive creative ideas and new platforms for opportunities to build brand awareness, close new business, and have a robust referral network
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and seminars to promote the brand
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to build out sales processes, procedures, and proper implementation strategies

Skills & Experience

  • 5-7 years of proven sales success within the self-funded, stop-loss, or captive insurance market
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field
  • Existing broker/agency distribution channels in the market
  • Creative mindset and entrepreneurial spirit to drive business opportunities in a unique manner
  • State L&H license

Compensation & Benefits

$250-300,000 OTE year one + robust benefits package
