About the Role
The Senior Employee Benefits Consultant is the team quarterback between sales and service. Your stewardship over a large portfolio means you’ll constantly be working with clients on benefits strategies and provide guidance on a myriad of issues like pricing, plan design, funding arrangements, claims, compliance, enrollments, administration, and more. Conversely, behind the scenes you keep a watchful eye on service delivery, the introduction of resources, and how best to address complex and escalated service issues.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Development of multi-year client strategies and service plan management
- Plan design and competitive benchmarking
- Management of the marketing process and negotiations
- Network evaluations
- Vendor management
- Development of bid specifications
- Proposal analysis
- Client presentations
- Budget projections
Skills & Experience
- At least 5-7 years of health and welfare insurance industry experience in sales or client service
- Active state insurance license
